1.2 Cooperation Networks in BIREME Accounts

Users in BIREME Accounts must have a Cooperative Center code, which identifies their institution and the Center to which their contributions will be assigned.

When a network coordinator requests the registration of a center, they also indicate which information sources and networks the center will cooperate with.

The Networks menu is displayed only to users whose profiles have been set to Advanced Editor by the network coordination.

It is the responsibility of the network coordinator to keep the list of Cooperative Centers up to date, ensuring that those that are active and contributing to LILACS and the databases managed by the institution are included in the Included Centers tab.

Important: The absence of a Cooperative Center code in BIREME Accounts means that the center was not previously selected in the “Networks” menu by the Coordinator.
