Name of the person responsible for the supervision or co-supervision of the thesis or dissertation. In general, the advisor is accountable for the thesis before the institution, while the co-advisor is indicated due to expertise in the subject of the work and may be external to the institution. However, the real need to include the co-advisor should be evaluated.
