Page identifier

LILACS Methodology Field:

  • Field 14 Page Identifier (analytic level)

Guidelines:

Number that identifies the pages of the article or chapter as presented in the document.

  • Pages: Use only when the article has no pagination or when pagination is irregular, placing the initial and final page numbers in brackets. If there is a clear indication of beginning and end pages, delete the content of this field.

  • Initial page: First page of the article

  • Final page: Last page of the article

  • Electronic location identifier: Use to record electronic pagination (e-location) when the journal has continuous publication flow and provides an electronic pagination code instead of traditional pagination.

For documents available electronically without traditional pagination, record the data in the Electronic location identifier (e-location) field, preceded by the letter e.

Example: Electronic location identifier: e20160071
